Modalities:

Both the Acupuncture/Moxibustion(Axumoxa) and Bodywork styles that are used in appointments may differ greatly then what you have had in the past. The treatment are means to balance the internal energetic system as well as increasing parasympathetic response with the Acumoxa and deal with any musculoskeletal issues with a very distinct manual therapy and assessment method using the Functional Range Systems paradigm. Dress:

For acumoxa treatments it may be necessary to work on all aspects of the body but for most purpose wearing a clothes that will allow access to the back, abdomen and lower leg ( around the knee down) and the forearms( around the elbow and down).

For the bodywork given there is lots of movement and diagnosis with the client on and off the table as part of the treatment. I usually have folks dressed down enough where area can be worked on with draping and that also allows them to move around the room if needed. This will usually consist of a tube top, tank top or bandeau type bra if it applies for the upper body. For the lower body folks will usually wear underwear, yoga type shorts or bathing suit bottoms.

Paperwork:

Around the day of your appointment you should get an onboarding form link for your appointment. If you don’t receive it an hour or two before the appointment please let me know so that I can get it sent to you. This will leave us more time for the actual treatment.

Cancellation Policy

Please be advised if you need to cancel your appointment please notify us as soon as possible. If the appointment is cancelled prior to 48hrs before the appointment there will be no charge. If cancelled in the 48 hour window there will be a cancellation charge for the full amount of the service.
